Barbara Fossum is the Managing  Director for the Cyber Center and the Computer Research Institute (CRI) at Purdue University. She guides  the Cyber Center, http://www.purdue.edu/dp/cyber/ and the CRI, http://www.cri.purdue.edu/ .  The nanoHUB activities reside within the Cyber Center.   She was a Program Manager for the Division of Shared Cyber Infrastructure at the National Science Foundation in Washington, DC for 3 years, and the Director of the Visualization Laboratory at the Beckman Institute for Science and Technology  at the University of Illinois for 10 years.  She has led and built interdisciplinary and collaborative research projects for more than 15 years.  Barbara received her education at the University of Illinois in Urbana- Champaign, IL.
