In an in-press study, Leslie DeChurch, Alina Lungeanu, Megan Chan, and Noshir Contractor analyze data from NASA space analog teams and Ancient Rome, finding that dyadic shared leadership is uniquely unstable, while solo or 3+ leader structures persist.
