Flights are often a much-needed escape from work and a time to disconnect, but one airline is betting on business class becoming the next great networking opportunity. Virgin America launched a partnership last month with start-up social networking app “Here on Biz,” offering a deal on in-flight Wi-Fi and encouraging business-savvy flyers to build networking contacts while they travel. The app takes a user’s LinkedIn profile and connects them with other professionals near their location, or other app users on Virgin America flights. Think Tinder for the suit-and-tie set.
